Pink for a Girl, Blue for a Boy...

Two adorable Bichon puppies out for a walk in Menton's pedestrian street yesterday afternoon.

The Annonciade Bichons

On Menton Daily Photo we are currently on a walk to the Monastery of l'Annonciade. On the way, half hidden behind a gate, we found these three Bichons Frisés. I know nothing about them but they obviously spend a good part of their day keeping an eye on the visitors and pilgrims who make this trek to the monastery. You can see more by clicking on the link.

Skippy

Wet feet, beautiful dark eyes - this is Skippy, an 8-year old bichon from Belgium. On holiday in Menton - I told Skippy's owner how sorry I was the weather is so awful but apparently they'd been here a while and had had lots of good weather too. So that's good.

Chou-chou

There's are two or three beaches in Menton that allow dogs - so it's a great place to go and find them. Over the next few days we'll meet some of the beach dogs to be seen on one of the beaches yesterday.

This is Chou-chou - he's 5 years old and lives in Menton. He's a cross between a bichon and a poodle, which you can see in the amount of coat he has. He's probably due for a haircut.

Black eyes

Waiting in the queue to buy some bread, I couldn't miss this little bichon staring at me with his big black eyes. I don't know his name, just he was happy to gaze at the camera with so much trust. Aren't dogs wonderful!
